A reporter for
Ahrar-Wledna said that the prison management of Ramon
prevented Nabeel Dakoor, a lawyer from the “Public Society
for Combating Torture” from meeting hunger-striking
prisoners, claiming that the prisoners are on strike,
according to instructions of the prison.
The prison official claimed that the striking prisoners are weak because of the hunger strike, and cannot walk to his office.
The Public Society has sent a note to the Judicial Chancellor, requesting that the Supreme and Centre Courts allow to the striking prisoner to meet his lawyer, cancelling Article Nine of Instructions of the Prison Management that prevents a striking prisoner from meeting with his lawyer, added Dakroor.
