1- Ministry of Communications participated in the solidarity tent in front of El-Shefa hospital
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology participated in the ‘solidarity with patients’ tent which was held by the Ministry of Health at El-Shefa hospital. The Ministry said that the power crisis and shortage of fuel caused much damage in the Ministry’s operations, including stoppage of life-supporting devices several time per day.
2- Ministry of Detainees announced the launch of the international conference to support the detainees
The Ministry of Detainees announced the launch of the international conference to support the Palestinian detainees. Many prominent international figures working in the field of human rights will attend this conference. The Minister of Detainees received a delegation from 'Miles of Smiles 11 convoy". He affirmed the importance of such delegations in helping to make known internationally the suffering of detainees. The head of the convoy announced the establishment of an international society for detainees affairs. The aim of this organization is to defend Palestinian detainees under the name "Freedom for Palestinian Detainees Organization."
3- Ministry of Economy launched inspection campaign on goods
The General Administration of Industry at the Ministry of Economy conducted 43 inspection visit to industrial utilities. The aim of these visits is to make sure that the goods in the market met Palestinian standards.
4- Ministry of Awqaf denounced the aggression of the occupation on the holy Quran
The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs denounced Israeli occupation aggression against Palestinian detainees. The Ministry also condemned the profaning of the Holy Quran by Israeli soldiers as it scorns all Moslems everywhere. It called on Arabs and Moslems to take serious steps to prevent such actions.
5- Ministry of Culture and Youth called to stop the settlement in the holy lands
The Ministry of Culture and Youth called on international legal organizations, the Human Rights Council and UNESCO to prevent the crimes practiced by the Israeli occupation in Palestinian lands. The Ministry also condemned the decision of the occupation to built a mall beside the Islamic cemetery in Ashkelon. It added that the savage and barbaric actions of the Israeli occupation will not weaken the strength of the Palestinian people.
6- Ministry of Culture to award the best cultural center
The Ministry of Culture said that five cultural centers won the prize of the best cultural center. It said that the celebration will be held in May to honor all the participants and give the first three centers financial rewards.
7- Council of Ministries participated in the solidarity tent in front of El-Shefa hospital
The Palestinian Council of Ministries participated in the solidarity with the patients tent which was held by the Ministry of Health at El-Shefa hospital. It demanded the lifting of the unjust blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip to save the patients from a slow death, adding that the Israeli occupation is the only one responsible for this human disaster now taking place in the Gaza Strip.
8- Ministry of Foreign Affairs honored group of doctors in "Miles of Smiles Convoy 11"
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Planning honored a delegation of doctors who came into the Gaza Strip with the "Miles of Smiles Convey 11." The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Planning praised the vital role of the convoy as the doctors conducted several unique surgeries for the Palestinian patients. At the end of the meeting, the Ministry honored the delegation of doctors and asked them to tell the rest of the world about the suffering of patients in the Gaza Strip.
9-Ministry of Agriculture to establish farm irrigation in Gaza Srip
The Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture contracted with Jordanian Company (EL-Qwafel) to establish a farm irrigation system in vacant land in the Gaza Strip. The Minister of Agriculture agreed to allocate this land to establish this project and he praised the efforts leading to progress in the Agriculture sector.
10-Ministry of Agriculture to prevent importing frozen chicken from Israel
The Ministry of Agriculture agreed with the Ministry of Economy to save the domestic animals sector from collapsing, by preventing the importing of frozen chicken from Israel, in order to stabilize the price of fresh local chicken.
11- Ministry of Tourism to start the third stage of its drilling project in Rafah
The Ministry of Tourism completed its preparations to start the third stage of its drilling project in Rafah Hill, in the south of the Gaza Strip. Recent steps in the drilling plan are expanding the excavations to include more parts of the Rafah Hill. The Ministry said that it is forced to use primitive machines in the drilling process because the Israeli occupation prevents the entry of modern machines into the Gaza Strip.
12- Minister of Health received the head of the Forensic Medicine at Cairo University
The Minister of Health received the Head of Forensic Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine in Cairo University, and they discussed different ways to develop forensic medicine in the Gaza Strip. The Minister said that his Ministry will organize a workshop about forensic medicine to improve the abilities of doctors and official working in this field.
13- Ministry of Justice received a delegation from the Arab Lawyers Association
The Minister of Justice received a delegation from the Arab Lawyers Association (ALA), and he praised the role of ALA in supporting Palestinian issues, including Jerusalem, the annexation wall, and the issue of the detainees. He referred to the strong relationship between the ALA and the Palestinian Lawyers’ Union. The Ministry also called on the international community to prevent Israeli violations of international laws and norms, and condemned the stance of the West regarding what is happening in the Palestinian territories.
14- Ministry of Justice : the renewal of the administrative detention of MP EL-Hajj, is a violation of human rights law
The Ministry of Justice denounced the renewal of the administrative detention of Member of Parliament EL-Hajj, and considered it a war crime and a violation of human rights law. The Ministry called on the international community to put an end to the irresponsible actions committed by the Israeli occupation.
