Message from Gaza: No one knows when this hell will
end
Lengthy power black-outs & fuel shortages severely
restrict hospital care in Gaza
By Tali Williams, Kia Ora Gaza team member
Mohammed Younis was one of our great interpreters in Gaza on the last convoy. He sent us this moving message about life in Gaza today….
“The situation in Gaza is getting worse .. today there is no power (almost all the day) no fuel, no cooking gas, no water due the fact that power goes down for long hours .. and its getting worse .. people cant go to work .. students cant go to schools and teachers as well .. university students are suffering .. soon we will use fire to cook and cooking oil to run our cars .. people are over depressed and frustrated .. life in Gaza is dying and no one will know when this hell will end.”
Mohammed's message reinforces the importance of the international community to act quickly to support the people of Gaza. Please donate to the Kia Ora Gaza convoy and more importantly join the movement to hold Israel accountable for its miserable and devastating blockade and attacks.
