COHA Aide-memoire: Falklands Fever Not Likely to Turn into War
As tension continues to rise between Britain and Argentina over claims to the Falkland/Malvinas Islands, the Council on
Hemispheric Affairs explores the motives behind the inflammatory rhetoric. This report argues that while armed conflict
is unlikely, the unwavering position of both countries' leaders suggests a deeper shift in their foreign and economic
policies.

Improving the Education System in Guatemala is the Only Answer to Violent Crime
While it is important for the Guatemalan government to fight the heightened crime in the country, their approach to this
has not had any concrete effects. In order to truly transform the state of poverty and crime that has plagued the
central American nation, reform should start in its schools, led by its Ministry of Education.
