Tongan King arrives in London to attend the Royal Wedding

Royal Visit to London to attend the Royal Wedding
His Majesty King George Tupou V arrived safely in London on Sunday 24th April 2011, in order to attend the Marriage of His Royal Highness, Prince William of Wales with Miss Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey on Friday 29th April 2011.
His Majesty The King, together with members of visiting Foreign Royal Families will travel in procession in luxury coaches to Westminster Abbey for the Wedding ceremony. After the Wedding Service, the Royalties will depart from Westminster Abbey for Buckingham Palace.
The Reception at Buckingham Palace is expected to be attended by over 600 VVIP guests. The Bride and Groom will leave from Buckingham Palace as the Reception ends at 1530hrs.
Whilst in London, His Majesty The King will have an audience with His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales at Clarence House. His Majesty will also be a guest of Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester at a special function at Kensington Palace.
Following the London visit, His Majesty The King will make a private visit to two other European capitals before the Royal Party will return to Nukualofa.
