Fijian Leader honored
“ The members, supporters, friends, fans and well-wishers of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ), All Ethnic Congress (AEC), Young Executive Club (YEC), Fiji Council New Zealand (FCNZ) and the New Zealand Association of Certified Public Accountants (NZACPA) are delighted that our Founder/Leader/Chairman and President Alton Shameem JP, CPPA the New Zealander- Native Fijian was honored with the Kiwibank Local Hero Award Medal as an integral part of the New Zealander of the Year Awards 2011 at the Browns Bay PostShop, North Shore, Auckland on Wednesday, March 2” said Ms Pratima Nand QSM, JP also a New Zealander-native Fijian.
“Invited guests, fellow awards recipients, their families and friends attended the well organized, lively, friendly Kiwibank Awards Ceremony at the Browns Bay PostShop with a panoramic and enticing view of the wonderful beach and East Auckland. The Master of Ceremony Grant McCabe who is also the National Awards Manager introduced the awards recipients to the enthusiastic attendees.
We found the people and the Kiwibank personnel helpful, caring, warm, affable and passionate in their various exciting community activities and making a difference in the community for the greater good of our great country New Zealand” said Alton Shameem JP, CPPA the New Zealander-Fijian Community, Cultural, National and International Leader, Founder/Leader/ Chairman and President of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ), Young Executive Club (YEC), All Ethnic Congress (AEC), Fiji Council New Zealand (FCNZ) and the New Zealand Association of Certified Public Accountants (NZACPA).
I take this opportunity to most profoundly thank my family, members, friends, fans, supporters, well-wishers, community, the nominator, and Kiwibank for bestowing me with the Kiwibank Local Hero Award, and for tirelessly helping and supporting our various organizations to be involved with the communities both locally, nationally and internationally for the progress, advancement, peace, harmony, love and collective good of all peoples”.
