Spectacular Night Planned on Youth Visit in Fiji

A social night for youths on board the 23rd Ship of the World on Friday will be a spectacular showcase of cultural themes from youths of 13 countries around the world.

This will be an opportunity of a lifetime to witness different cultures from countries like Tanzania in Africa, Oman in Arabia and Bahrain, Sweden in Europe, Brazil in South America, Japan in Asia, Mexico, Chile, Australia, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, and Federated States of Micronesia.

Principal youth officer William Naisara said the Fijian audience would in for exclusive entertainment by different cultures from representatives of 13 countries .

“These 300 youths will depict the true cultures of their respective country and share them with their peers in Fiji. So I am encouraging youths and families to come down to the Vodafone Arena and enjoy this unique cultural showcase,” Mr Naisara said.

“The 11 Fijian youths, who are now Fiji home, will also showcase the diversity of culture they come from.

“In addition three Fiji youth groups will be entertaining the audience.”

Mr Naisara said everyone was welcome with the affordable admission of $2 for adults and $1 for children above five years, while those below five years would enter free.

Tickets are available at the Department of Youth in Nasoqo House Suva and will also be available at the Vodafone Arena on Friday evening.

The Fijian Youth band will be entertaining at MHCC complex in Suva today as part of the awareness campaign for the cultural night and tickets will be sold near the stage.

The Ship of the World cultural night will start at 7pm this Friday, February 4 at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
