Commenting on yesterday’s bomb attack, ITF general secretary David Cockroft said:
“It is with deep pain, sorrow and indignation that we have heard the news of yet another terrorist attack – a suicide bombing at Domodedovo Airport, where dozens of innocent people perished or were wounded.”
“In this mournful time for the Russian people, transport workers of the world, affiliated with the ITF, are conveying their sincere condolences, expressing their support for the families and relatives of the victims, and wishing for the fastest possible recovery by those wounded.
“This attack shows once again the need to strengthen our solidarity, and to display courage in the struggle against global terrorism.”
