*What:* Royal Australian Air Force will perform a three-ship F/A-18 Hornet formation fly-past over Regatta Point as part of the Australia Day celebrations.

Royal Australian Air Force will perform a three-ship F/A-18 Hornet formation fly-past over Regatta Point as part of the Australia Day celebrations.*

**When:* 10:30am, Wednesday, 26 January 2011.

Please note timings are approximate and subject to change. *
Location:* The F/A-18 aircraft, from Number 3 Squadron at RAAF Base Williamtown, will approach from the south-east travelling north-west over the eastern basin of Lake Burley Griffin.

The F/A-18 aircraft, from Number 3 Squadron at RAAF Base Williamtown, will approach from the south-east travelling north-west over the eastern basin of Lake Burley Griffin.

The aircraft will travel at speeds of approximately 420 knots (778kph) and maintain an altitude not below 500 feet (152m). *
