Fiji PM Sends His Condolence to the Government of Brazil
Saturday, January 15th, 2011,
Fiji’s Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has sent his condolences to Her Excellency Dima Vana Rousseff the President of Brazil, for the devastating mudslides in South-East Brazil.
“I have learnt with a deep sense of sadness of the loss of lives and property that has been caused by devastating mudslides in your country. I send my heartfelt condolences to the families of all those who have died and my deep sympathy to the many who have lost their homes and livelihoods in this disaster,” Commodore Bainimarama said.
Commodore Bainimarama also wished the Government of Brazil success in their efforts in handling the devastation.
“We wish the Government and People of Brazil every success in your efforts to remedy this catastrophic situation and we assure you, Excellency, of our solidarity in this trying period,” he said.
