Hundreds of people have been arrested in Belarus in demonstrations against the results of Sunday's presidential elections.
At least seven of the nine opposition candidates are believed to be among those detained; several of them were also beaten.
The US and the EU have condemned the crackdown.
The Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe says the vote, which saw the incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko re-elected, was flawed.
