OECD Economic Survey of Turkey
The OECD’s latest economic survey of Turkey, to be published on Wednesday 15 September 2010, looks at the challenges faced by the country in the wake of the economic crisis. A special chapter looks at regulatory reform.
The survey will be available to journalists in English on the OECD's password-protected website at 11.00 a.m. Paris time (09.00 GMT) for immediate release.
A news conference presented by OECD Secretary General Angel Gurría and Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister Ali Babacan will be held at 12.00 noon the same day at the Prime Ministry, Kızılay, Ankara. A Policy Brief with the main conclusions will be freely accessible in pdf format (in English and French) on the OECD’s web site at www.oecd.org/eco/surveys/turkey. You are invited to include this internet link in reports on the survey.
Journalists will be allowed advance access to the electronic version of the publication, by e-mail and under embargo, the day before release.
The study will be sent by e-mail on request only. In asking to receive the Survey under embargo, journalists undertake to respect the OECD’s embargo procedures.
