Nuclear kicks Renewables’ butt!

Nuclear kicks Renewables’ butt!

Kevin Rudd’s 20 per cent renewable energy target will drive Australia into a literal dark age, so if we want a future, we must go nuclear, Citizens Electoral Council leader Craig Isherwood declared today.

“Nuclear energy will transform Australia into an isotope economy, wherein we will not only be able to generate virtually unlimited quantities of power and fresh water, but literally manufacture our own resources,” Mr Isherwood said.

“It will also give us the leg-up to finally develop what as of now is the ultimate energy source, fusion power, which ANU scientists are part of an international project to perfect, because it holds such promise for humanity.

“But we must go nuclear to get there, and with the largest reserves of the world’s uranium and thorium, we have no excuse.”

Mr Isherwood blasted the whole concept of “renewable” energy:

“Choosing renewables over nuclear is a giant leap backwards, in terms of energy flux-density,” he said.

“If our politicians don’t know what that means, they should find out before they make decisions for which they are not qualified. Everyone should: watch the LaRouchepac video ‘ The Fraud of Free Energy’.

“Genuine technological advances are measured by an increase in the density of energy generated; so called renewables—solar, wind etc—involve a massive decrease in energy density.”

Mr Isherwood cited the following comparison of energy flux-densities, measured in kilowatts per square metre:

Solar—0.2; Fossil fuels (oil, coal etc.)—10,000; Fission (present nuclear)—70,000; Fusion (future potential)—1015.

“It is the greenies and their financial backers in the Anglo-Dutch oil cartel who are blocking the world from taking the step forward to nuclear, and instead are pushing it backwards to renewables,” Mr Isherwood said.

“They are dooming the world to a new dark age, in which we will be unable to sustain our population, and it will collapse by billions—which is what they want,” Mr Isherwood concluded.
