Family Of Sean Mccarthy Request Privacy
The Department of Defence is releasing this at the request of the family of Signaller Sean McCarthy.
The family of Signaller Sean McCarthy, who was tragically killed in Afghanistan yesterday, has requested the media give them an opportunity to grieve in privacy.
A statement will be released from the family once Sean’s family have returned from overseas, but in the meantime they have asked the media to cease contacting them so they have a chance to mourn the loss of their beloved son, brother and friend with the dignity and respect he deserves.
Sean’s family will not be conducting any interviews at this time.
