Putin & Israeli PM Ehud Olmert Chat On The Phone

Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert
The Israeli Prime Minister warmly congratulated Vladimir Putin on his success in the recent State Duma elections and highly praised United Russia's results in the elections.
Vladimir Putin and Ehud Olmert exchanged opinions on the results of the international meeting on the Middle East that recently took place in Annapolis, USA.
They also discussed the prospects for finding a Middle Eastern peace settlement, including in light of the forthcoming donor conference that will take place in Paris in December and preparations for the next international conference in the first half of 2008.
The talk took place at Israeli initiative.
