Swedish Trade Minister To Join Civil Security Meet

Sweden's Minister for Foreign Trade to participate in civil security conference
On Thursday 8 November, Minister for Foreign Trade Ewa Björling will hold the opening speech at the 'Civil Security Conference'.
The aim of the conference is to find possible cooperation areas in civil security between the Swedish technology industry and the USA.
The seminar has been arranged by the Swedish Association of Civil Security (SACS), the Swedish Agency for Innovation Systems (VINNOVA), the Swedish Emergency Management Agency and the Embassy of Sweden in Washington.
The participants include Swedish high-tech companies and representatives of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The DHS has overall responsibility for leading and coordinating efforts to strengthen civil security in the USA and works with public, private and civil actors.
The conference will take place in the Conference Centre in Rosenbad, Stockholm.
