Vietnam Prime Minister On Visit To Singapore

Introductory Visit To Singapore By The Prime Minister Of The Socialist Republic Of Vietnam, His Excellency Nguyen Tan Dung, 13-14 August 2007
Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Excellency Mr Nguyen Tan Dung will make an Introductory Visit to Singapore from 13-14 August 2007, at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Mr Dung was appointed Prime Minister on 27 June 2006, and was recently re-elected to the appointment by the National Assembly of Vietnam on 25 July 2007.
Prime Minister Dung will be accompanied by his wife, Mdm Tran Thanh Kiem; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Gia Khiem; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh; Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Pham Khoi Nguyen; senior Vietnamese officials and a business delegation.
Prime Minister Dung will call on President S R Nathan and have separate meetings with Prime Minister Lee, Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew.
Mr. Dung will also be hosted to dinner by Prime Minister Lee. During his visit, Prime Minister Dung will meet the Singapore business community.
