SUVA (RNZI Online/Pacific Media Watch): The former CEO of the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation, Francis Herman, is expected to be interviewed by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption.

A commission spokesperson told the Fiji Times that Herman’s interview scheduled for today has been deferred until tomorrow.

The commission has declined to say what allegations have been made against him.

The interim prime minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, has said there have been allegations of abuse of office against Herman.

Commodore Bainimarama has said Herman will not be going anywhere until he is thoroughly investigated.

Earlier this month, Herman was prevented from leaving Fiji for Australia.
