Antiwar Movement to Respond to Bush's State of Union Speech
United for Peace and Justice to Announce Details of Major National Peace March in D.C. January 27th

WHAT: United for Peace and Justice will hold a press conference to provide antiwar movement responses to President Bush's State of the Union speech and announce details of the January 27th March on Washington to End the Iraq War. The march, organized by United for Peace and Justice, is expected to be among the largest peace demonstrations since the war began.

WHEN: Wednesday, January 24, 9:30 am

WHO: Sponsored by United for Peace and Justice. Speakers include:

- Leslie Cagan, National Coordinator of United for Peace and Justice

- Olga Vives, Executive Vice-President of the National Organization for Women

- Fred Mason, President of the Maryland-DC labor federation

- Tom Andrews, former member of Congress from Maine and National Director of Win Without War.

United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ) is the largest U.S. peace and justice coalition with more than 1,400 member groups under its umbrella.
