Great career options for all at MIT’s open evening

Manukau Institute of Technology has more than 1500 full and part time courses kicking off this February, covering a wide choice of careers.

And those serious about studying towards a great career can learn all they need to know about these exciting programmes at MIT Open on Wednesday, 24 January 2007.

This free information evening is a chance for prospective students to seek advice on the best path of study for them to take.

MIT Open is a great opportunity for future students to learn more about their area of interest, talk one-on-one with lecturers to discuss study options and to check out the excellent facilities at MIT. Visitors will also receive free career advice and can meet MIT’s student ambassadors and mentors. Visitors are welcome to take a full tour of MIT’s three Otara-based campuses to see what is on offer.

One lucky visitor will also win a $1000 study fees grant.

To be in the draw for the prize, visitors must attend the information session on MIT’s Business, Computing and Information Technology, and Communication Studies programmes at the NR Block on North Campus from 5.30pm. The $1000 grant can be used towards a course of study in any of these fields in Semester 1 of 2007.

There is also a prize draw for an iPod Nano on the night.

MIT Open runs from 5pm to 8pm with information sessions across MIT’s campuses in Otara. Free parking is available on site, while shuttles will run between the campuses.

For more information call 0800 22 62 62 or visit www.manukau.ac.nz/mitopen07.
