Taiwan hands over funds for Pacific aid projects
Taiwan
has officially handed over the funds connected to aid
projects for 8 Pacific regional organisations.
Taiwan’s
Trade Representative in Suva, Sherman Kuo, provided 735,000
U.S. dollars to the Forum Secretariat for assistance that
was originally announced at the end of last year.
The
Forum Fisheries Agency, the Fiji School of Medicine and the
University of the South Pacific are among the eight
organisations to receive funding for a variety of
projects.
