UN chief is visiting Sri Lanka on a two-day official visit,Urgent Appeal For Joint action to ensure United Nation's Secretary General Koffi Annan to visit most affected areas of Mullaitivu in the North and East of the island.

Some are now asking whether this saw as a positive sign and will bring suffering civil conflicts and warring parties closer to a just fairly settlement to meet their aspiration and peace with freedom.

There has been some optimism in the south of Sri Lanka that relations between the government of Chandrika Kumaratunga and the Tamil Tiger rebels might improve.

The sources saying their is some sinhala hard-line nationalist are working against the peace process and UN chief visiting to Mullaitivu of affected areas in the North and East of the island.

Both the LTTE and the government have signaled the tsunami could bring them closer together - "brothers in misery," as Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse put it - and help revive the peace process.

An exchange of conciliatory remarks and pledges to work together brought a sudden reversal in the gloomy political atmosphere. The hope is that joint relief efforts will break the cycle of distrust and build a level of confidence that would allow peace efforts to resume.

LTTE spokesman Daya Master confirmed that the UN Secretary General would visit some of the worst affected villages in the LTTE controlled areas. He said LTTE political chief S. P. Thamilselvan would receive him and brief him about the damages and the needs of the areas under their control.

The International community is saying tsunami did not discriminate along ethnic lines and UN chief Kofi Annan also need to visit affected areas in the LTTE controlled areas Mullaitivu of during two-day visit to Sri Lanka.

The North and East which suffered the worst damage by Tsunami waves, large number of children were killed and peoples death toll climbed over and is expected to increase with the numbers missing persons in the island.

UNICEF chief Carol Bellamy set the example by visiting the areas under LTTE control and holding talks government officials, Tamil Tiger leaders and heads of non-governmental organizations during her visit the island.

International community is saying that, UN chief must need to visit affected areas in the LTTE controlled, it will help to understand realties especially children of that areas devastated by the tsunami and suffering by civil conflicts in North and East of the island.

The International community is join hands with the UN and the peace loving humanity to continue work for peace and create a world wherein every human being can have basic human and democratic rights and live with peace and dignity.
