Budrus Residents Set To Challenge Israel Wall
Tomorrow, Monday, November 1 Residents of Budrus and Villagers from Surrounding Area will Challenge the Illegal Construction of the Wall
Israelis and other Internationals will Join the March
At 1:00PM, residents of Budrus and surrounding villages, supported by internationals, including Israelis, will gather at the Mosque for a non-violent march of resistance to the confiscation of their lands and construction of the Israeli Annexation Wall.
In spite of a court order to build on 56 dunums of land that belongs to the families of Budrus, construction is on-going on 150 dunums of their land. The farmers and their families will voice their opposition to the contruction of the Wall as well as the violation of a court order by the military.
Budrus has a long and successful history of non-violent resistance to the construction of Israel's Wall and the destruction and confiscation of their lands.
However, the organizers of the march are concerned that, in light of the escalating attacks by the Israeli military in reaction to recent marches, tomorrow's peaceful march will be threatened once again by military violence.
