SS Oriana has NOT Sunk

A few days ago, Xinhua Chinese News Agency reported that SS Oriana had sunk. ssMaritime reported on 18 June that Oriana had been damaged during a severe storm on 17 June, which resulted in a 2.2 meter gash in her bow causing her lower decks to flood, thus her list. However, the report that Oriana has sunk is incorrect. An associate went to see the ship on Tuesday morning 6 July and took two photographs, one of which is shown below. Therefore, we believe due to a translation problem from Chinese into English that reports by the Australian news media, Seatrade Insider, a reputable UK Cruise Information site and ourselves yesterday was thankfully incorrect.
