Roh vows not to tolerate terrorism
President Roh Moo-hyun commenting on the beheading of the South Korean hostage, Kim Sun-il by Muslim insurgents in Iraq, said on Tuesday (June 29) that under any circumstances he will not tolerate terrorist activities .
At a mermorial service held in remembrance of fallen South Korean sailors, Roh said "The brutal murder of Kim Sun-il caused us immense shock and rage," additonally Roh commented that "Terror is an inhumane, criminal activity and should not be tolerated under any circumstances." The president's message, was addressed to approximately 150 top military leaders and Navy officials attending the ceremony held at the Navy's Second Fleet headquarters in Pyeongtaek on the central west coast.
