TO ALL LOCAL UNIONS IN THE UNITED STATES

Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your help is needed now!! Please read this letter thoroughly and then take the action requested.
We are in trouble. "We", meaning all union members in the United States. The Bush Administration has begun an all-out assault on employee unions and their collective bargaining rights. Its goal is to end collective bargaining and "due process" for the working people of this country. The first tier of the administrations claim that the creation of this system is for national security reasons is a lie. This "Rumsfeld Proposal" is aimed solely at destroying employeess proposed collective bargaining system for its employees is far outside what the law allows. Urge them to take the ation necessary to make it clear to DOD that it must adhere to the law in establishing the NSPS.
Best Wishes. Fraternally yours,
Edwin D. Hill
