Israel/Occupied Territories: The killing of civilians must stop
Amnesty International strongly condemns the suicide attack in Jerusalem that claimed the lives of at least ten people
and injured scores of others when a man blew himself up in a bus on Thursday morning.
"Palestinian armed groups must put an immediate end to suicide bombings and other deliberate attacks against civilians,"
said Amnesty International.
Amnesty International has repeatedly condemned suicide bombings and other attacks against civilians carried out by
Palestinian groups, including the armed wing of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. Such deliberate and
systematic targeting of civilians constitutes crimes against humanity.
