One Citizen Killed By Israeli Troops in Hebron, 14 Wounded in Tulkarem

HEBRON, Palestine - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot dead Tuesday a Palestinian citizen in the West Bank town of Dura, near the city of Hebron.

Palestinian sources said IOF, stationed near the (illegitimate) Jewish settlement of “Tjihout” opened fire at Palestinian citizens, killing one unidentified citizen,” Palestine News Agency (WAFA) reported.

Palestinian citizens from the village of “AlTabaqa”, near "Tjihot” said Israeli troops backed by helicopters randomly opened heavy fire around the settlement, killing one citizen, according to WAFA.

In the city of Tulkarem, fourteen Palestinian citizens were shot and wounded by Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday.

IPC’s said Israeli troops invaded Tulkarem under a cover of intensive fire and imposed curfew.

Fourteen citizens were shot and wounded, three seriously, after being shot Tuesday with live ammunition during the Israeli incursion of the city. Mohammed Al-Hatta, 13, and Mos’ab Adwan, 14, were critically wounded in their heads, Palestinian medical sources told IPC correspondent.

“Israeli tanks and armored vehicles invaded the city of Tulkrem, while ordering citizens through loudspeakers not to leave their houses,” IPC’s said.

In the meantime, Israeli forces arrested three Palestinian citizens in the villages in the district of Qalqilia. Basem Ishtiwi, Akram Ishtiwi and Mohammed Nofal, were arrested Tuesday as IOF stormed the two villages of Jayous and Kofor Qaddum, Palestinian security sources said.
