Bush Congratulated Sharon On Roadmap Progress
US President George Bush telephoned Prime Minister Ariel Sharon (Friday NZ Time) to congratulate him on the recent progress in contacts between Israel and the Palestinians.
US President George Bush ,telephoned Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in order to congratulate him on the recent progress in contacts between Israel and the Palestinians, especially Tuesday meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister Abu Mazen.
Prime Minister Sharon and US President Bush discussed the need to continue the process and, at the same time, strictly maintain security and eradicate terror.
Prime Minister Sharon accepted US President Bushs invitation to meet with him in Washington in September.
