Palestine Human Rights Campaign: Road map; Apartheid wall

The Palestine Human Rights Campaign condemns the NEW Israeli requirement for international peace workers and observers to sign a document absolving the Israeli Army from any action resulting in their injury or death in Gaza .

The Israeli Army has no right to be in Gaza and are there illegally.

Already Israeli censorship is massive in occupied Palestine and these peace workers are the last few, genuine independent observers of the horrors that are happening to the Palestinian people.

This document is another curb on the flow of information out of occupied Palestine.

It comes at a time when Colin Powell is pushing the Peace Roadmap over which Israel is procrastinating again as in the Oslo Peace Accords.

Further the arrest and deportation of members of the International Solidarity Movement and Human Rights Watch prevents independent monitoring human rights which is an essential part of any process to resolve conflict.

The Separation wall is another tangible example blatant rejection of peace by Israel.

It is taking illegally, half of occupied Palestine to erect a hugh 8 metre high concrete wall confining Palestinians into giant concentration camps.

We urge the international community and especially our government in Aotearoa/ New Zealand to act now to show our national disgust for .

1.. The requirement of an entry document to Gaza which is a license to kill and a waiver to accountability. T 2.. The apartheid Separation Wall. 3.. The procrastination of Israel to agree and implement the roadmap. The government should immediately remove the Waiver Visa Agreement with Israel as an expression of the violation of International Laws, Geneva Conventions and U.N. Resolutions until Israel complies with the norms of a civilised nation.
