UPDATE 4 - Australian Defence Force support to Bali explosion victims

A total of four C130 aircraft will support the Emergency Management Australia (EMA) casualty distribution plan within Australia.

Three C130 Hercules aircraft departed from Darwin overnight transporting casualties to southern capitals.

A fourth C130 is due to depart Darwin at 9:10am local time.

The first C130 departed at midnight with 11 casualties and arrived in Perth at approximately 4:00am local time.

The second C130 departed at 2:00am and will arrive in Adelaide at approximately 7:20am local time. It will then continue on to Melbourne arriving at approximately 11:50am local time.

The third C130 departed at 5:00am local time and is due to arrive in Brisbane at approximately 10:20am local time this morning.

A fourth C130 is scheduled to depart Darwin at 9:10am local time and will arrive in Sydney at RAAF Base Richmond at approximately 3:00pm local time.

A Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) C130 took 22 Australian Federal Police personnel to Bali and is due to arrive there at approximately 8:00am local time.

As at 6:00am (AEST), 15 Oct 02, a total of 66 evacuees had been transported from Denpasar Bali to Darwin and a total of six trips by the C130s from Bali to Darwin have occurred.
