UPDATE 3- Australian Defence Force support to Bali explosion victims

At 5:30pm (AEST), a C130 arrived in Darwin with two stretcher casualties. This is the fifth trip by the C130s from Bali to Darwin.

Two ADF flights will leave from Darwin this evening transporting 15 casualties to Perth and 20 casualties to East Coast cities, most likely to be Brisbane and Sydney.

Another flight will travel with 15 Australian Federal Police (AFP) personnel for tasking as required on board to Bali.

An additional C130 carrying medical supplies will arrive in Darwin from Richmond later this evening.

In total four C130 aircraft have been used to assist with the aeromedical evacuation of casualties from Denpasar, Bali.

A fifth C130 aircraft has been used to transport medical supplies from Richmond to Darwin and a P3 Orion has been used to transport additional consular DFAT staff, AFP and ASIO, from Canberra to Bali.

As at 7:50pm (AEST), 14 Oct 02, a total of 66 evacuees have been transported from Denpasar Bali to Darwin.
