Peacekeeping Images: Christmas Snaps In Suai

Photos of Christmas activities from 23 December. Members from the New Zealand Battalion and 3 Squadron RNZAF Maori Culture Groups, Fijian Company Choir and Slovakian Forward Surgical Team Choir, all combined to sing Christmas carols around the local Suai area and bring Christmas cheer to local villages.
Christmas 1 - Singing Christmas carols in one of the local villages are from L to R - Aircraftwoman Karinne Gillespie (3 Sqn Det), Corporal Gus Herniman (NZBatt 5), Corporal Sarah Clark (3 Sqn Det), Captain Ray Mihaere (NZBatt 5) and Vierka Hromadova from the Slovakian Forward Surgical Team.
Christmas 2 - Santa is surrounded by local children as he hands out lollies.
Christmas 3 - Corporal Dee Joyce (from Christchurch) complete with Reindeer Antlers sings Christmas carols with local children in one of the villages.
