Kia ora,
Darly Te Hira is collecting woollen jerseys to send to children in Afghanistan. The jerseys will be transported and distributed by UNICEF. An outline of how you can help with this is included below:
Jerseys should at least 80% (and preferably 100%) wool, with no writing, logos, numbers or animals on them; and any size from baby through to teen or adult. Other pure wool items of clothing are welcome too - bush shirts, swandris, leggings or scarfs.
They should be posted as soon as possible to Jerseys for Afghanistan, c/o Wainuiomata Post Office, 15a Queens Street, Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt.
Please include a gold coin donation if you can, to assist UNICEF with the cost of posting them.
