Jordan News Agency:A Palestinian national security officer was killed on Monday after being wounded during the Israeli forces incursion in Jericho last Thursday, Voice of Palestine radio said.
Officer Muhammad Shawani of the Palestinian national security forces was seriously wounded as he was defending the city, the radio said.
In another incident, the Israeli occupation forces used live ammunition against the Palestinian citizens who have been trying to break the military siege imposed on Qalqilya, where about twenty Israeli tanks are besieging the city, the radio affirmed.
The occupation's measures prevented the Palestinian officials, including teachers from arriving to their offices and schools in the neighboring villages and towns, the radio said.
The Israeli occupation forces, deployed along the green line adjacent to the west side of the city, prevented, by use of live ammunition, tens of workers to pass through to their working centers.
A Palestinian citizen was seriously wounded by live ammunition of the Israeli soldiers entrenching near Zawya village, VOP concluded.
