The report of the Commonwealth's Special Envoy to Fiji, Justice Pius Langa should be fair, says regime's Foreign Affairs Minister, Kaliopate Tavola.

Tavola was quoted in today's Fiji Sun as saying that the regime was "satisfied with his [Langa's] second visit". He also stated: "It was agreed that he would not have an itinerary from us. We gave him the flexibility he wanted and we didn't gag him. We had nothing to hide".

Earlier the SVT had stated that it no longer had confidence in Justice Langa because he had travelled to Vanua Levu with Mr. Chaudhry. Some regime officials had also condemned Langa for what they believed was a security breach by travelling with Chaudhry.

Tavola, however, called the SVT "dissatisfied people". He stated: "There will always be dissatisfied people in the community. His trip to the North with Mr. Chaudhry does not mean that he will be favouring the People's Coalition".

SVT's Ratu Inoke Kubuabola and Konisi Yabaki are in the regime's cabinet.
