Who: Participants in a delegation to the refugee camps in West Timor: John Sayles, novelist, screenwriter and filmmaker
(Men with Guns, Lone Star, Matewan, and Passion Fish) and Loren Ryter, researcher in Indonesian politics.
What: John Sayles and Loren Ryter will report on the findings of a delegation coordinated by the East Timor Action
Network/U.S. to the West Timor, East Timor and Jakarta, as well as offer an update on the situation of the refugees in
West Timor and ways to resolve the situation.
