Women Make The News In Fiji

WOMEN MAKE THE NEWS

SUVA: The women of Fiji's Daily Post newspaper prepared last night to run the paper today. it is part of an effort by this newspaper to join UNESCO in promoting International Women's Day today.

Today, Daily Post chief subeditor Christine Ravoi-Rakai, the only woman chief subeditor in the Pacific Islands, will act as editor.

Crime and Parliament reporter Josephine Prasad will be news editor. The Daily Post already has a woman, Karalaini Waqadrola, as sports editor, and Rosi Tamani is business editor.
