(SBU) During a February 25 meeting with Department of
International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) Assistant
Director for Nuclear Disarmament and Nonproliferation
Simbongile Mancotywa-Kumsha, Deputy Political Counselor
stressed the importance of prompt agreement on a Conference
on Disarmament (CD) Program of Work and provided reftel
points. Mancotywa-Kumsha assured us that she would share
U.S. views with DIRCO Deputy Director Johann Kellerman, who
recently returned from an assignment as South Africa's
representative to the CD and now manages South Africa's CD
participation.
