vetting the following candidate, who is currently serving as
the Defense Attach at the People's Republic of China (PRC)
Embassy in Washington, D.C. He has been nominated to
participate in SOCOM's Fifth Annual Conference, "Threats to
Sovereignty: Regional Issues/Global Implications," pursuant
to the Leahy Amendment and Foreign Assistance Act. The
conference will be held in Key West, Florida, from March
