Charge d'affaires Barrie Walkley presented demarche requested
reftel to Mauritius Foreign Minister Arvin Boolell on January
19. Boolell was familiar with all details regarding the
demarche and the January 31 deadline. He stated that a final
decision for Mauritius will be in concert with positions
adopted by the African Union and the Alliance of Small Island
States (AOSIS).
