SUBJECT: USINT HAVANA EAC MEETS TO DISCUSS MARINE BALL

1. On 10/22/09, Post's Emergency Action Committee met to
discuss security preparations for the 2009 Marine Ball which
is scheduled to take place on November 14 at the Chief of
Mission Residence (COMR).

2. Based on current threat information, host country
vigilence of the COMR, and the utilization of local guard
force assets, Havana's EAC is confident that the security
planning for this year's Ball is adequate.
