JUSMAG IMET CAPTAIN CAREER COMMON CORE

1. (SBU) The Department of State reviewed its files and found that,
as of this date, it possesses no credible information of gross
violations of human rights for the individual identified below. This
individual is a candidate for participation in the Captain Career
Common Core under JUSMAG International Military Education and
Training (IMET) Program. The program schedule runs from December 1,
2008 through June 3, 2009.

2. (U) Candidate:

CPT Justino T. Romonete, DOB: July 19, 1977
POB: Ilocos Sur, Philippines
Unit: 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing, Philippine Air Force

3. (U) Post may provide the following statement to authorized
parties: Embassy verifies that the Department of State possesses no
credible information of gross violations of human rights by the
individual identified in paragraph 2 above, as of this date. Post may
cite this cable in response.

4. (U) If, in the future, post becomes aware of possible human rights
violations by the individual listed above, post should inform the
Department and not proceed with training.

5. (U) The Captain Career Common Core starts December 1, 2008 and
ends June 3, 2009 at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
