1. (U) On November 19, the National League for Democracy
(NLD) delivered to Embassy Rangoon a message of
congratulations to President-elect Obama on behalf of Aung
San Suu Kyi and the other members of the party's Central
Executive Committee. Pursuant to State 118192 we attach
below the text of the message, a hard copy of which we are
forwarding via diplomatic pouch to S/ES-CR.
