1. Embassy Freetown delivered reftel points regarding the new 100
percent scanning requirement for U.S.-bound maritime cargo to the
Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
International Cooperation, Ambassador Umaru Wurie, on August 30,
2007. Amb. Wurie was responsive and noted that Sierra Leone already
scans all cargo departing their port.
