(U) The Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided the
following information regarding expected high level
attendance at the 62nd UNGA in September. All information is
subject to change.

A. President Tarja Halonen will attend.

-- Arrive New York 9/23; depart 9/27. Will attend
portions of General Assembly Debate. Possible side
trips to Washington and elsewhere TBD.

-- Spouse will not attend.

-- No interpretation required.

B. Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen will not/not attend.

C. Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva will attend.
