1. PolCouns delivered reftel demarche to Charn Jullamon,
Director of the Peace, Security and Disarmament Division at
the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Charn noted that
Thailand had switched their position last year from
supporting these resolution to abstention. Mr. Charn stated
that this is "already one step forward," and that his
Ministry is still considering whether Thailand will "abstain
again or take another step forward" for this year.
