1. Embassy delivered reftel request to the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and Trade on October 20 with a courtesy copy to the Ministry
of Communications.

2. MFAT Acting Deputy Director Haji Naaim Mohd Salleh of
International Organizations Department informed embassy that Brunei
supports both the U.S. candidacy for ITU Council and ITU Radio
Regulations Board.

3. Ministry of Communications informed embassy that Brunei
Darussalam will send four officials to attend the ITU
Plenipotentiary Conference in Antalya, Turkey on November 6-24.
