Helena Cristina Horta, MFA desk officer in the Department for
EU Internal Market & Scientific, Industrial and Technological
Issues. Horta stated that Portugal had not reached a final
decision on the borate and boric acid issue but was currently
inclined to favor a Category 3 classification. She also
promised to forward talking points to Ministry of Economy
officials planning to attend the next ATP meeting.
