conveyed reftel demarche to Ministry of Foreign Affairs
International Counterterrorism Cooperation Division Deputy
Director Miyako Ishimura and Ministry of Finance Legal Office
Deputy Division Chief Shunichi Fukushima on July 24, 2006.
Ishimura noted that she had already received the Identifying
Information and Statement of Case from Japan's UN Mission,
but expressed appreciation for the Embassy's efforts. Both
thanked us for the information but had no further comment.
